Congregation

Worship

For the month of August only, we will be having only one morning service, which will be at 10.30 am. These services will be suitable for all ages, with some separate activities for children. Do stay after the service for a cup of tea or coffee in the back hall. In September our morning services will once more be at 9.30 and 11.30.

There is also an evening service at 6.30 which is less structured than the morning. We will often have a time of worship, in which we encourage participation from the congregation. We look for God to guide and lead us even in our worship and to give us particular gifts from his Holy Spirit. Again we look into God's word, to lead, direct and to correct us.

There is often an opportunity to make a response but at all services there is a team who are willing to pray for you whatever you happen to be facing.

You can listen to a selection of sermons from our services here external link.

Other opportunities

Our worship together is also expressed in our Home Groups, Prayer Meetings and other occasional activities. Full details can be obtained from the church office.

Giving

Part of worship is the giving of our money to God's work. If you are part of the regular congregation at Slough and would like to give to the work here in a more systematic way than you do at present, on our members' page you can find two forms to help you - a Standing Order form and a Gift Aid form.
