Church awayday Saturday 29th September 2018

This year we will be exploring discipleship as we look at the book of Colossians and seek to understand more about how we grow personally and our role in helping others to grow as disciples. The sessions will be interactive with instruction from Gary Franklin and Ash Zook, opportunities to discuss together, and to work out the implications of what we exploring for us today.

Alongside this we will have lots of time to worship together, pray and enjoy being with one another. There will be some extended times over lunch and early evening to eat together and enjoy a few different activities as well. Refreshments, lunch and a hog roast dinner (vegetarian option available) are all being provided.

The day will be held at Langley Grammar School, where there is plenty of parking. We will start promptly at 10:30am with coffee available from 10:00am. The formal sessions will finish by 4:30pm, when we will have the hog roast and a few bits of entertainment. Everything will be finished by 7:00pm, but you are welcome to leave earlier if you want to.

Please do let us know when booking if you will miss any part of the day, especially the meal times. We are not charging a fixed fee for this event but are asking people to make donations. We estimate that the day will cost around £20 per person, but would like to encourage you to donate as you are able.

If you have any questions or need to discuss any special requirements please contact Linda Fricker in the church office on 01753 523058 or
